It is apparent that her crack, chain smoking, and other bad habits have caused her serious health problems. Who wants to hear Amy Winehouse sing Rehab with a Susan Estrich like smokers voice? With emphysema and 70% or less lung capacity, undoubtedly her career has come to a screeching halt.

With that said I have started an Amy Winehouse death watch poll. No I don’t want her to die, she is extremly talented and is throwing it all away. But just like the “Reality Show” Intervention, sometimes there is nothing you can do but cut the ties and let them go. So all of you fans out there should just dump her and leave her. Your support and monetary contributions (Album Sales) are only delaying the inevitable and enabling her bad behavior.

So let the betting begin. Take the death watch poll and let us know what you think. Heck even Vegas is hedging bets. But I will make it even more interesting, the first person to leave a comment at the end of this post and guesses her expiration date within five days, will get a nice fifty dollar iTunes death, Ahem… gift certificate. That of course only applies to 2008.

Who Is The Hottest Celebrity Mom?

Celebrities are not the only attention grabbing and money grappling spotlight whores. Hollywood moms can sometimes leave an impression that will have us talking about them around the water cooler. Presence often translates into dollars. And for some of these Hollywood moms, greed seems to be the ultimate motivation for exploiting their offspring to their own gain. So enough with my dissertation on the rich and ignoramus, Ahem.. famous.

Candidate number one is Dina Lohan, the washed up Radio City Rockette who has been mixed up in her own controversy and sucking the spotlight from her daughter Lindsay. Candidate number two is the one and only Kathy Hilton. She married her empire and is best known for her crazy daughter Paris and whats her name, oh Nicky (the tamer of the two). Finally candidate number three is Lynne Spears. The proud mom of the neurotic, manic, unpredictable Britney and the knocked up Jamie Lynn play thing.

So which is it, a little Lohan, a stay at the Hilton, or the double edge Spear? Cast your vote below to poke some fun at these distasteful Diva’s. I personally think the best choice is a stay at the Hilton.

Breaking from the format here just for one post, we thought we’d draw some attention to ratemyprofessors.com’s listing of “Hottest Professors” that came out recently. And to borrow from a tech bashing site we love, this one gets a heaping helping of FAIL.

Presumably “hottest” would mean hot as in sexy, and not a single professor in the top five comes with a photo. And the only one we were able to dig up from her respective faculty site, is shown below. Either we are mis-understanding this hot list, or the students picking the winners here has a sense of humor.

The top five ladies on the list, in order, were:

1. Maria Disavino - Manhattan College
2. Lesley Yoder - Boston University
3. Heather Tierney - College of Charleston
4. Stephanie Bowers - Oregon State University
5. Peggy Ward - Wichita State

Again, none of the listings contained photos, and the only find-able one from the list above, is shown in this post. Ugh.
